This was a "welcome to the jungle" themed baby shower cake.
Each tier has a chocolate bottom, whipped chocolate ganache filling, then topped with a vanilla cake. It is covered in buttercream frosting with gumpaste animals.
Norma was so happy with the way the cake looked and tasted that she would continue to call us for all upcoming occasions. Thanks Norma!

Trentin's Birthday Cake
This was Michelle's little boys birthday cake. He wanted a Buzz Lightyear birthday and was soooo happy to have a buzz lightyear and woody cake.
The cake was a yellow cake filled with bavarian cream; topped with buttercream frosting, graham cracker dirt, and fondant. We were so excited for the final product and everyone loved the cake. It definitely turned out amazing and made his day!
Chantelle's Bday Cake
It was a marble cake filled with bavarian cream, topped with buttercream frosting. Everything on the cake is edible except for the characters. We were very excited to be able to have all the creativity we wanted!
They told us the cake tasted amazing and looked wonderful. Hopefully it was a great 21st birthday.

Brayden's Birthday Cake
Michelle's friend Jaci wanted an ALL edible cake for her son's birthday. They were having a swim party and wanted a cake to match the theme. SO what better then to make a swimming pool. Michelle was pretty much in charge of this cake and how it turned out and it ended up looking amazing! The only things not edible are the netting, toothpicks holding up the ladder and the metal swirl. This pool party cake is a marble (white & blue) 1/2 sheet cake. Within each layer of the cakes and filling we put nerds...which ended up tasting very good! Jaci and Brayden both loved this cake.
Ty and Manda's Birthday cake
So this is probably our first cake wreck we have had. Michelle's bro and sis in law were celebrating their birthdays and wanted a Super Mario cake. We had made all the fondant pieces and started to bake the cakes when the date was changed on us. So finally when the day to make the cake came, all the fondant pieces had broken into several bits. Only a select few survived. So we did what we could to make it look somewhat appealing. We will be making another cake like this very soon to repost how it is really suppose to look!
Brixley's Birthday Cake
Our neice Brixley was having a "girl only" party. She wanted a very girly cake with bright colors. It is a two tier strawberry cake filled with b. cream. We used buttercream frosting for our base and designs. The roses we placed perfectly to hold the 4 into place. And the jewels seemed to make the cake extremely girly with just enough "bling". Everyone loved the cake and Brixley was very happy with how it turned out! We love our neice.

Welcome Little Monster
Our cousin was pregnant with her first child, her baby shower theme was "welcome little monster". The colors of the shower were brown and orange. This a 2 tier 8'' and 10'' circle cake. It is made from a yellow cake then filled with b. cream, and covered in buttercream frosting. The orange and brown swirls along the edges are melted bakers chocolate. The Monster is formed from fondant and then covered with buttercream frosting.
We were so excited to see everyone's facial expressions. We were glad to know that Autumn and Evelio truely enjoyed their cake and are now a happy mommy and daddy. Their little baby girl is beautiful and healthy!
Crystal and Nixon's Birthday Cake
Our sister in law and her son (our nephew) both celebrated their birthday's together. Crystal didn't want us to have to make two seperate cakes and told us to make one just for Nixon. So we added her name on to final cake.
Nixon is a hundred percent little boy so we thought a dirt bike cake would fit him very well. It was hard to find small enough dirtbikes to fit on the sheet cake but we did. The cake was a white cake filled with b. cream, then covered in buttercream frosting. It turned out great and Nixon loved getting more toys off the topof his cake.

Mother in law Birthday Cake
Michelle's mother in law loves loves loves to go shopping. Her Thursday's and Saturday's are dedicated specifically for shopping. So we formed out a bag from Rice Krispy treats then covered it in pink fondant. We add sparkles to the fondant and pearls to make them have a little shimmer. The cake was a 10'' square made from cherry chip cake, with b. cream filling.
Andrea's birthday cake
My sister-in-law Andrea loves all things japenese. So we figured all things asain would work too. We did the cherry blossoms up the sides and top of the cake. With a sushi board, two rolls of sushi, pink chopsticks and ofcourse the Happy Birthday fortune cookie. It was a strawberry cake with b. cream filling. This cake looked alot better then I expected it to, and tasted great.

Grandpa's birthday cake
Our Grandpa is an avid fisherman. He loves anything to do with fishing. So we decided to make a fish cake since we had just learned how to use rice krispy to mold shapes. The fish is definitely molded out of rice kripsy then covered in fondant. Megan sculpted each scale and then painted it by hand. The cake was a success and the whole family enjoyed it.
Brandon's Birthday Cake
Chantel's barbie cake
Ali's wedding cake
This was our second attempt at a wedding cake. Ali wanted a sqaure two tier cake. The colors we were given were purple and orange with a white base of buttercream frosting. The filling was rasberry cream cheese with a simple white cake. We wrapped each layer in a purple ribbon which were held in place by pearls. The flowers were a simple but beautiful addition we did. Megan and I were proud to call this our cake.
Our FIRST WEDDING cake
It was our cousin Jeni's wedding and we drove to Utah to support her in this momentous occasion. She was so trusting to let us make her wedding cake. We were so nervous to see how it was all going to turn out in the end. We were ambitious and made our own fondant. The bottom 3 layers are fake while the top is the real one they cut into. Megan and I were very pleased when the finished product was put on its stand and we added all the flowers. Not to bad for our first time.
